Movement
Neuroscience and
Neuroprosthetics

GALLEGO LAB

Our goal is to understand how the brain and the spinal cord control behaviour, and leverage this knowledge to inform the design of neuroprosthetics that restore movement to neurological patients.

We combine behavioural experiments, electrophysiology, data analysis, and computational models to shed light into how neural populations learn and control behaviour. We also work on novel neuroprosthetic technologies, with an special emphasis on brain-computer interfaces.

We are part of the Department of Bioengineering, Imperial College London.
